Ashburton Investments launches a new property fund

07 September 2017 | Investments | General | Ashburton Investments

"The fund aims to provide investors with income and capital growth by investing in a range of liquid assets including local real estate investment trusts (REITS), property loan stocks, property collective investment schemes and property developers."

We are pleased to announce that our new Ashburton Property Fund officially launched on 1 September 2017. This fund targets both capital growth as well as income, serving as a key building block to any multi-asset portfolio.

Listed property has been one of the best-performing asset classes, even on a risk adjusted basis over a five- and fifteen-year period. Although current distribution (dividend) growth may slow from the double-digit growth investors have become accustomed to (given the challenging macro backdrop), it is still however expected to exceed inflation over the coming years, making it a solid medium- as well as long-term investment.

About the Ashburton Property Fund

The fund aims to provide investors with income and capital growth by investing in a range of liquid assets including local real estate investment trusts (REITS), property loan stocks, property collective investment schemes and property developers. It will have a minimum of 80% exposure to property at all times and may invest in offshore assets as permitted by legislation.
