FPI Top Student Awards

At a Gala Dinner held in Johannesburg last evening, the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) presented awards to the top students in various categories.

FPI general manager marketing Mersey Booysen said; “We have an opportunity annually to combine the University of the Free State (UFS) graduation ceremony with the FPI Annual Convention to induct new CFP^® professionals as well as present the top students from the three universities (UFS, University of Johannesburg and University Stellenbosch) with their prizes at the Gala Dinner. For our delegates it's a real treat to see the profession growing before their eyes, and for the students to be recognised in front of their peers. This year we also welcomed the 278 new CFP^® professionals to the FPI. There are now 3 730 CFP^® professionals serving our community. Our congratulations go to the 10 top students who were recognised for their outstanding achievements. This shows us our standards are being maintained and grown year on year.”
