Resignation of Justus van Pletzen, CEO of the FIA

Yesterday we learnt the FIA CEO Justus van Pletzen announced his resignation from the FIA to pursue another career path. Justus will remain at the FIA until the end of May 2016, after which Barry Taylor, current chairperson of the FIA Short Term Insurance Committee, will oversee his role pending the appointment of a suitable replacement.
Over the last 12 years Justus and has been the driving force behind the FIA and has supported intermediaries.
We wish Justus all the best for his future.
