Masthead recently welcomed PPS as its newest financial services partner and has thereby grown the range of products that Masthead’s independent financial advisor members can offer their clients.

Following the successful results of a due diligence by Masthead, PPS joins Masthead’s 11 other product partners that include Old Mutual, Sanlam, Liberty Life and FMI.

“We look forward to a successful partnership with PPS,” said Andre Le Roux, Masthead’s head of distribution. “PPS provides unique, cutting edge financial solutions for graduate professionals and its products effectively complement those that are currently on our platform.”

He continued, “As the world’s largest multidisciplinary group of graduate professionals and with a legacy spanning more than 70 years, PPS has a strong brand. Furthermore, it is member-owned and both its operating and investment profit is shared by members.”

John Marsden, PPS national sales director, said the company is thrilled to partner with Masthead. “As a niche insurer, it is vital that we provide suitable support to PPS members and through the accredited, compliant Masthead intermediary base we will be able to broaden our reach in this regard.”

Furthermore this partnership enables PPS to expand its intermediary support base. “We encourage all Masthead member advisors who work in this target market to obtain accreditation to support PPS’ market of graduate professionals,” commented Marsden.

According to Ian Middleton, Masthead’s managing director, the organisation’s product partners are always carefully selected. “The overall offering from all our product partners ensures member advisors have a full range of quality financial products from which to choose. This enables our members to deliver objective financial advice at all times.”
