Absa Life's risk products now available on the Astute platform

Absa Life, a division of Absa Financial Services, has joined Astute to make its full range of risk products available to financial advisers who use the platform to integrate data from product providers when undertaking financial planning for clients.

Astute enables advisers to provide comprehensive and quality advice to clients, something which Absa Life will continue to support as we move to deliver our range of underwritten products through this channel.”

Astute assimilates information online from companies offering life insurance, disability and investment products, and has become significant distributor of financial services information to advisers in South Africa and Namibia.

Data will be provided only to the financial adviser on record for the specific client he or she is requesting information for. In line with legislation, Astute requires that advisers obtain their clients’ written consent prior to retrieving information. This is a condition of use of the Astute service.
