Proteas can keep their eyes on the ball as their healthcare is covered
The Proteas will be able to fully concentrate on justifying their one-day ranking and attempting to bring the Cricket World Cup back to South Africa, knowing that their medical needs are being carefully looked after.
Not only is Johannesburg-based Resolution Health Medical Scheme taking care of the players healthcare needs, it is also sponsoring medical coverage for that extremely important and hard-working team member, physiotherapist Shane Jabaar.
We are honoured to be associated with The Proteas and proud to be making a contribution to their quest to win this major tournament for all South Africans, said Dr Lenny Modisane, Resolution Healths Principal Officer.
Despite a week or twos rest, most players will arrive in the Caribbean feeling some of the effects of a long season. The Proteas will play at least nine games, although their fellow countrymen will be hoping that they play eleven and bring home the coveted trophy, with Jabaar providing all the necessary treatment and assistance to keep the side in shipshape physical condition.
Resolution Health, which has over 46,000 principal members and more than 110,000 beneficiaries, offers some of the most affordable medical scheme options in South Africa, with comprehensive coverage.
It is not only the Proteas scheme of choice, but also most provincial cricket franchises and Super 14 stalwarts the Bulls and the Cheetahs.
