Bonitas Medical Fund & Pro Sano to amalgamate

Bonitas Medical Fund (“Bonitas”) and Pro Sano Medical Scheme (“Pro Sano”) are pleased to announce that after a lengthy period of investigation and negotiations, that they have agreed to amalgamate. The Parties signed agreements and an Exposition Document

Should the members of both Schemes be satisfied that the amalgamation may proceed, the Schemes will proceed to obtain regulatory approval for the transaction. The effective date of the amalgamation will be communicated to all stakeholders in due course.

We are optimistic that this transaction will be to the benefit of the members of both of the Schemes, and we will keep interested parties informed as the matter unfolds.
