Medihelp TV Series: Living with Drug Abuse

18 August 2010 Medihelp

A drug is a substance that affects your thoughts and emotions, and is used deliberately to change the way you feel and to alter your mood. Ruda Landman and Dr Franco Colin are joined in the “’n Lewe met” studio by Alex Hamlin, who recounts his experience as an addict. Alex explains how he managed to reclaim his life despite the fact that he started experimenting with drugs at a relatively young age. This compelling episode of “’n Lewe met” will be screened on kykNET, channel 111 on DStv, on Tuesday, 24 August at 21.00, with repeats on Wednesday at 16.00 and Thursday at 11.00. The series, presented in association with Medihelp Medical Scheme, is based on Medihelp’s popular DVD series “Living With” that focuses on 13 different mental health conditions.
