InterGlobal, the international private medical insurer has expanded its operations in Africa to support new and existing business across the region.
The company has taken on key new managers, Edward Daniels and Antony Brown, to develop sales and distribution, and service business across Africa.
Edward Daniels joins as Business Development Manager, Africa. He has over 10 years experience in the international private medical insurance industry and has spent the last three years working on business development in Africa. His focus at InterGlobal will be expanding the insurer’s intermediary base in Africa and providing ongoing support and development to brokers.
“Africa is increasingly in the spotlight when it comes to expatriates, with migratory movements throughout the continent, providing numerous opportunities for intermediaries. We are here to support our distribution network in developing their business and ensuring their clients’ health is covered,” says Daniels.
Antony Brown joins as Account Manager, Africa and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. He comes to InterGlobal with over 10 years experience with the British High Commission, dealing with protection, contingency planning and assistance for people in distressed circumstances across southern Africa. He will be servicing overseeing and co-ordinating all operational aspects of InterGlobal’s business in Africa.
