InterGlobal partners with red24 to provide policy holders with major new benefits

27 February 2008 InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited

Partnership allows InterGlobal to offer greater depth and breadth of protection than ever before

InterGlobal, the international private medical insurer, has formed a powerful partnership with personal security specialists red24 to provide the benefit of 24/7 security services, information and advice to its policy holders.

InterGlobal policy holders who buy or renew their plans from this year now have access to red24’s security services as a standard part of their plan. The hotline gives members round-the-clock access to a red24 personal security advisor wherever they are in the world. Policy holders can now gather information on any destination or issue of concern including cultural hints and tips, major natural hazards, disasters and political or civil unrest.

Holders of InterGlobal’s top of the range plans – UltraCare Plus and Comprehensive and International Schools Gold – will, upon inception or renewal of their policies, also have access to red24’s on-the-ground response services, enabling security specialists to be dispatched for direct assistance in the event of a life-threatening situation.

Jonathan Simpson Tarling, Commercial Director at red24 said: “It’s great to be working with InterGlobal and their policy holders. More and more, employers are looking for security-related services to help care for their employees, especially when working or living overseas.”

“By adding these services to our plans, we can help policy holders avoid many of the pitfalls expatriates and travellers may face in today’s ever-changing world,” says Barbara Zito, Group Sales and Marketing Director at InterGlobal.

“Working with red24 means our intermediaries can offer their customers plans with an even wider range of benefits, additional peace of mind and protection,” Zito concludes.
