InterGlobal boosts benefits

10 June 2008 InterGlobal

InterGlobal, the international private medical insurer, has augmented its plans with multiple new benefits.

New benefits, introduced at the beginning of the year, focus on wellness and wellbeing, and include cover for hormone replacement therapy, treatment of allergies, increased benefit levels for maintenance of chronic conditions and extended cover for restorative dental treatment.

“Employers and expatriates require their health insurance to meet their lifestyle needs,” says Edward Daniels, Business Development Manager, Africa. “They want to protect their health and that of their families through preventative and wellness treatments, rather than relying on curative treatment.”

InterGlobal has also added cover for HIV/AIDS and terminal conditions to its plans, and has formed a powerful partnership with security specialists red24 to provide the benefit of 24/7 security services, information and advice to its policy holders.

InterGlobal policy holders who buy or renew their plans from this year now have access to red24’s security services as a standard part of their plan, including a hotline giving members round-the-clock access to a red24 personal security advisor wherever they are in the world and, on their top plans, access to red24’s on-the-ground response services, enabling security specialists to be dispatched for direct assistance in the event of a life-threatening situation.

“These benefit-rich plans offer intermediaries, brokers and financial advisers the opportunity to provide clients with a wide suite of benefits to meet all their healthcare needs,” says Daniels.
