CMS: New Acting Registrar appointed

Minister of Health Dr Aaron Motsoaledi has appointed Mr Craig Burton-Durham as the Acting Registrar of Medical Schemes with effect from 27 November 2009 following the resignation of the previous incumbent to the post, Mr Patrick Matshidze.

Mr Burton-Durham has been Head of Legal Services at the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) since its inception in 2000 and is not new to the post of Acting Registrar, having served in this capacity before.

He will serve as Acting Registrar and Chief Executive of the CMS until a permanent Registrar is appointed.
