Coface launches mobile credit insurance app
Coface, the international credit insurer, has launched a mobile credit insurance application for smartphones, the first of its kind globally. It is based on Coface’s Cofanet, the online platform for managing credit insurance contracts in real-time. The application will be available for download at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Cofanet is an online platform for managing Coface credit insurance policies. Its advantages include a ‘one click’ online search to identify debtors, determine immediately the outstanding exposure covered, request a credit line, report claims and monitor potential customers. This is now available on mobile devices with CofaMove.
CofaMove lets users access Coface's credit insurance coverage information. It enables credit managers to improve their responsiveness to risk taking while managing sales representatives on the move. In turn, sales representatives become more effective in prospecting and negotiation.
The current features of CofaMove include company identification, coverage consultation and ordering credit insurance products. The application is multilingual and will be available to some 40 000 Coface Cofanet users at no additional cost.
"This mobile tool meets a technological demand giving customers more responsive risk management on the ground. Through the integrated technical platform, international customers can use this new tool on a global scale from day one,” said Patrice Luscan, Coface marketing and strategy director.
