The FSCA supports World Investor Week 3 – 9 October 2022

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) will be supporting World Investor Week taking place from 3-9 October 2022.

World Investor Week is a global campaign promoted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to raise awareness about the importance of investor education and protection.

The FSCA, in collaboration with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), the City of Joburg – Eldorado Park Department of Economic Development, the Gauteng Consumer Affairs Office, and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) will be running FREE Business and Entrepreneur Investor Education workshops to the public.

The 3-day programme covers the following topics:

Day 1
• Registering your business and compliance,
• Business governance such as opening a bank account, keeping personal and business finances separate, the importance of business insurance and managing cash-flow

Day 2
• Good vs Bad Credit
• Debt management
• Investor Education

Day 3
• Drawing up a business plan
• Types of business funding
• Funding for SMME’s

A certificate of attendance will be issued to attendees at the end of the 3-day programme. See schedule below for more information.

Date: 4, 5, 6 October 2022 (Tuesday-Thursday)
Time: 10:00 -13:00 daily
