According to the, the FSB's deputy executive officer of market conduct and consumer education Gerry Anderson there were eight FSP applications declined in August.

3. The Bond Group (Pty) Ltd, Scottburgh, Kwa-Zulu Natal (FSP 17617);

4. Isobel Botha, trading as Bella's Funeral in Paarl, Western Cape (FSP 17958);

5. Three Diamonds Trading 35 (Pty) Ltd, trading as Financial Planning Mentors in Durban North, Kwa-Zulu Natal (FSP 11600);

6. Malope Josua Ntsana of Kempton Park, Gauteng (FSP 23313);

7. Woodmead Auto CC, trading as Woodmead Auto in Woodmead, Johannesburg (FSP 8664); and

8. Ngwedzi Funerals in Chiawelo, Johannesburg (FSP 15612).

Anderson said FSPs whose applications had been unsuccessful were entitled to appeal to the FSB Appeal Board, an independent tribunal, if the applicant was unhappy about the decision by the Registrar.
