FSCA warns the public against International Legal Financial Conduct Authority

09 November 2020 | Compliance - Regulatory | Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) (was FSB) | The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA)

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) warns the public about the existence of an entity that has cloned the FSCA’s website.

This entity, the International Legal Financial Conduct Authority (ILFCA) has set up a rogue domain that has duplicated information from the FSCA website, which misleads unsuspecting financial customers into believing
that it belongs to the FSCA.

Please note that ILFCA is not a legitimate FSCA domain. The Authority encourages you to remain vigilant and verify the authenticity of any communication you may receive from domains purporting to be the FSCA relating to financial transactions.

If you are unsure of any communication you have received from domains that purport to be the FSCA you can call us on 0800 203 722 or email [email protected].
