FSB warns the public against Crowd Funding Ltd

The Financial Services Board (FSB) warns the public against conducting financial services business with Crowd Funding Ltd. Crowd Funding Ltd is not a registered Credit Rating Agency and is not an Authorised Financial Services Provider.

It has been brought to the Registrar of Credit Rating Agencies attention that Crowd Funding Ltd is advertising itself as a registered credit rating agency and it is contacting people with the aim of offering financial services.

The FSB reminds those who wish to conduct financial services with an institution or person to check beforehand with the FSB on either the toll free number (0800 110 443) or on the website www.fsb.co.za as to whether or not such institution or person is authorised to render financial services and which financial product it can offer.
