Swiss Re Corporate Solutions joins the World Business Council for Sustainable Development

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the commercial insurance arm of the Swiss Re Group, joined nearly 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions offers a wide range of traditional and innovative risk and insurance solutions across a broad spectrum of industries. The company provides services primarily in the Property, Casualty, Credit & Surety, Special Lines (such as Energy, Engineering & Construction and Accident & Health) and Financial & Professional Liability lines of business. Swiss Re Corporate Solutions also offers Innovative Risk Solutions, which can be tailored to a customer's unique exposures, as well as International Insurance Programs. By combining fresh, innovative perspectives with tech-driven solutions and applied expertise, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions aims to address industry inefficiencies and customer pain points, and transform corporate insurance with the customer in mind.

The Zurich-headquartered company employs upwards of 2,500 highly-skilled employees with considerable experience in underwriting, claims management, risk engineering and other relevant disciplines. By collaborating with WBCSD’s cross-sector network of forward-thinking businesses, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions can act upon one of its core sustainability goals which is to leverage partnerships to increase overall sustainability impact in line with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
