Sanlam Liquid appoints Rene Roux

Sanlam Liquid, rated best savings account by the Sunday Times, Business Times in 2008, has a new head. René Roux (pictured) has a proven track record in banking and distribution, previously from Old Mutual and specifically as head of Marketing at Old Mutual Bank and as National Marketing Manager at Agency Franchise Division - a new distribution channel set-up in Old Mutual.

During her time at Old Mutual Bank she was responsible for, inter alia, the re-branding of the old Permanent Bank to Old Mutual Bank. Prior to that she held senior marketing positions at both Iridium Africa - a satellite communications company - and at Eskom.
