2019 Winners of Santam Safety Ideas Season 3

Startup businesses, DeepData and Cloudline were announced as the winners of the Santam Safety Ideas Season 3 competition based on their potential to radicalise insurance underwriting for the agriculture industry and risk management, respectively. Both winners were selected because of their unique offering to the South African general insurance market. They beat eight startups which were chosen as finalists.

Momentum Metropolitan Holdings appoints two new CEOs to executive committee to strengthen operations

Momentum Metropolitan Holdings, (formerly MMI Holdings), has appointed two new members to the Momentum Metropolitan Executive Committee (Group Exco). Dumo Mbethe and Hannes Viljoen, both internal appointments, will assume their roles effective 16 September and 1 September 2019, respectively. Mbethe will assume the role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Momentum Corporate and Viljoen will be the CEO of Momentum Metropolitan Health.
