Old Mutual Limited has announced the appointment of Zureida Ebrahim as Chief Operating Officer effective 1 November 2021.
Zureida is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Client Engagement Solutions for Momentum Metropolitan, a position she has held for just over five years now, having been with Momentum since 2004.
Zureida is a commercially focused innovation driver with over 17 years’ experience in the insurance sector, making her the ideal candidate to drive the customer led digital platform enterprise for Old Mutual Limited (OML) towards the 4IR. The role involves building the OML Capability Cluster as a commercially based business that is increasingly able to offer competitive services and capabilities to the broader Old Mutual Limited Group.
The Board of Old Mutual thanks Heloise van Der Mescht, who has diligently care-taken the COO function for over two years. She will continue to serve on EXCO until the end of 2021, and will take on the role of Executive: Special Projects.
Says Old Mutual CEO, Iain Williamson: “As we continue to strengthen our competitive offering to our customers, we are excited to have a leader of Zureida’s calibre onboard. This appointment will no doubt add meaningful value to Old Mutual’s strategic growth efforts.”
