(28.7.04) Old Mutual Asset Management in the USA has announce that Assets managed by the group's member firms increased 2.1% in the quarter, from $160bn on March 31, 2004, to $163.4bn on June 30, 2004.

Net inflows of client assets contributed $2.9bn, or 1.8% of the increase over AUM at the beginning of the period, while investment performance in the funds under management at member firms accounted for the remaining 0.3% increase for the quarter. 
 

Overall in the first half of 2004, the group's member firms in aggregate had net inflows of client assets of $5.3 billion, including $2bn in cash collateral assets.
