Mutual & Federal wins SA Publication Forum award

The Mutual & Federal employee newsletter, OUTLOOK scooped the SA Publication Forum’s Best Publication With Limited Resources 2010 award at a ceremony held in Midrand on Friday, 27 August 2010. The newsletter was also a finalist in the Best Internal Newsletter category and received merit certificates for Excellence in Design and Excellence in Communication.

The SA Publication Forum Awards is an annual event that is held to recognise excellence in internal and external corporate publications.

This was the second consecutive year that Mutual & Federal has entered the competition. Last year, OUTLOOK received merit certificates for Excellence in Communication and was nominated as a finalist in the Best Internal Newsletter category.

The Mutual & Federal group manager for Marketing, Laurien Comyn says, “We are delighted to have received this recognition. The Marketing team is always exploring ways of improving our newsletters and the feedback received from the SA Publication Forum last year has certainly proved invaluable”.

The short-term insurer’s external publication that is written for Old Mutual Personal Financial Advisors, Grapevine, received a merit certificate for Excellence in Design and was also a finalist in the categories of Best External Newsletter and Publication with a Lower Budget.
