Mutual & Federal receives top honours for world-class practices

Mutual & Federal received its 4th Top Employer Award for providing employees with excellent working conditions, nurturing and developing talent and continuously improving working conditions.

Mutual & Federal started participating in the top employer survey in 2010 and has been receiving this sought after accolade ever since. Getting the top employer seal doesn’t come easy. To qualify, many blue chip and multinational companies like Old Mutual, Coca-Cola, Unilever and SAP South Africa voluntarily participate in a human resource (HR) best practice research survey. This annual survey is developed and conducted by the Top Employer Institute, to allow corporates to have their human resource  policies and practices measured and scored against the world’s best. The Top Employers Institute is an independent research and media group, specialising in HR, strategy and leadership research.

Employee benefits, working conditions, staff training, career development, company culture and Black Economic Empowerment are some of the practices measured. A top score earns participants the top employer award.
