Common principles, values and vision create a successful partnership between Mutual & Federal and 360 Troy

23 September 2016

There was excitement in the air on Tuesday, as old Mutual Emerging Market (OMEM)’s senior leadership team sealed a partnership with 360 Troy to strengthen iWYZE as OMEM’s direct-insurance proposition. OMEM CEO, Ralph Mupita, Mutual & Federal CEO, Raimund Snyders, Anton de Souza, Connie Kruger and Hannes Wilken signed the partnership deal.

The partnership brings a seasoned insurance and financial services team into Mutual & Federal’s fold.  Anton has extensive industry experience including various senior positions in Nedbank and most recently also as an Executive Director at Telesure. Connie was an executive with Telesure since its founding and has deep experience in the development of direct insurance systems. Hannes also brings his vast experience based on his former roles as an Executive Director of Santam, Doves and Telesure.

With the Troy team having been at Mutual & Federal for more than a year and having gained great understanding of the business and its challenges and opportunities, the timing to seal this partnership could not be better. They have gained valuable insights on what makes the iWYZE business tick and have already made a valuable contribution to steer the iWYZE business to greater heights.

In conclusion, Raimund thanked Ralph for allowing Mutual & Federal and the Troy team the space to work together. He said: “It’s a privilege to be part of this successful partnership that will serve our customers in a fresh way in response to their needs”. This sentiment was echoed by Anton de Souza, who added: “It is an exciting opportunity to work with a great brand like Old Mutual and to build a business that will make a difference for Old Mutual”.
