Medihelp chairperson re-elected

Medihelp’s Board of Trustees has re-elected its chairperson, Hennie Koekemoer, for a second term at its 103rd Annual General Meeting held in Pretoria recently.

Koekemoer has been on the Board for a number of years and has also served as vice-chairperson. He will be serving as chairperson for the next two years.

In addition to Koekemoer the Board appointed a new member, Pieter Vosloo. Vosloo had been elected a member of the Board of Trustees of OpenPlan Medical Scheme in 2000 and has an excellent knowledge of amongst others, the medical schemes’ industry.

OpenPlan amalgamated with Medihelp on 1 January 2009 resulting in a net membership growth for Medihelp and further strengthening its position as the third largest open scheme in South Africa.
