Leading empowered insurer moves head office to new premises

Following the recent announcement that it has become the first short-term insurer in South Africa to achieve a Level 1 Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment rating, Lion of Africa Insurance has relocated its Johannesburg head office from Houghton to larger premises in Sandton.

Adam Samie, CEO of Lion of Africa Insurance says that after an exhaustive eight-month search the Sandton location is reflective of the brand?s new identity and will allow for significant growth as the company?s staff complement evolves.

?Our pride looks forward to relocating to our new territory located within the financial hub of Africa and nestled between the head offices of our key national brokers and business associates,? says Samie.

The new head office also has additional benefits for its clients and staff such as proximity to the Sandton Gautrain Station and improved public transport system, improved departmental structures with operations and sales strategically located in one area and fresh architectural designs, improving work flow while conserving energy.
