saXum Insurance Limited’s Partner Business Division secures agreement with Quicksure

After several months of negotiations, saXum Insurance Limited (saXum) wishes to announce that their Partner Business Division, which services larger and volume based NMI business, has concluded an agreement in principal with Quicksure. This follows Quicksure’s acquisition of National Network Administrators, which was an existing saXum NMI.

saXum Insurance Limited is a short-term Insurer and an authorised Financial Services Provider, FSP No 32460. saXum writes all classes of short-term insurance and Personal lines as well as Commercial and Specialist Lines of business, including Hospitality and Tourism, Engineering, Guarantees, Liabilities, Legal and Tax Assistance, Aviation and Marine.

saXum has offices in Gauteng, Western Cape, Free State and the Northern Cape as well as Kwazulu Natal. Mr. Thomas Ohlenschläger, CEO of saXum Insurance, stated that, “Quicksure have undergone a number of changes in management, while still maintaining its core focus of client and intermediary service. As a consequence saXum believed that this was the correct time to secure this partnership.”

Quicksure was established in 1990 and has grown significantly to managing premium income in excess of R 500 million. Quicksure services a broker base of 600 brokers. Mr. Shaheen Rajab, Quicksure’s newly appointed CEO said:

While the arrangement will write Personal Lines business the main focus of this arrangement will be to focus on Commercial business.
