SaXum Insurance Limited announces opening of new offices in Bloemfontein

saXum Insurance Limited is delighted to announce the opening of its new offices in Bloemfontein at Business Suites, Preller Square, Louw Wepener Street, Dan Pienaar, Bloemfontein. saXum through this move is further expanding their footprint in South Africa to ensure that brokers will be getting the best service. saXum also has offices in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

saXum as an insurer have various specialist divisions including Guarantees, Engineering, Hospitality and Tourism, Liabilities, Assist Products and conventional Commercial Lines and Personal Lines covers.

Leon Kruger was appointed as Head of Commercial and Personal Lines Division with effect 1 February 2015 at the Bloemfontein offices. Kruger started his Insurance career back in 1982 at IGI as a trainee Inspector, after which he gained experience at a number of Insurance companies on various Commercial products and management levels. Kruger also gained experience by spending time at 3 Corporate Brokers. Kruger has been part of the Bloemfontein Insurance market for the last 17 years and he is looking forward to establishing saXum as a service oriented Insurer for the South African market.

Wynand Louw is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and has experience in Commercial Lines (including heavy commercial vehicle insurance), Personal Lines and Engineering. In 2001, Louw started his insurance career as trainee Portfolio Manager in the underwriting department of Constantia Insurance Company (CIC) and later joined Bloemfontein Underwriting Managers, a heavy commercial vehicle underwriting manager of CIC. In 2011, Louw joined the ONE Regional Office in Bloemfontein as Portfolio Manager where he gained valuable experience across the commercial market.

When the opportunity from saXum Insurance came knocking on their door, Leon Kruger and Wynand Louw decided that they are up for the challenge and they as well as the staff (underwriting and claims) from the ONE Insurance Regional Office in Bloemfontein joined the saXum team. At saXum the brokers can therefore expect the same continued service excellence.
