New era for Claims in C-Sure

03 April 2014 | Company News & Results | General | Charlé Halgryn, C-Sure

From 7 April 2014, all C-Sure’s claims will be handled at the underwriting manager’s offices in Irene, Centurion. Claims were previously handled in KwaZulu-Natal.

"This is the first step in the implementation of C-Sure transformational strategy to address the challenges we face in handling sectional title and community schemes claims,” says Charlé Halgryn, Managing Director of C-Sure.

To drive this transformation process, C-Sure appointed Michelle Mostert as the new Head of Claims.

Michelle has been in the insurance industry since 2002, when she started with The South African Insurance Association. In 2006, she joined the ranks of Santam’s claims division. She is tasked with transforming C-Sure Claims.

Says Michelle, "I am excited to join C-Sure’s Claims team and committed to driving continuous improvement, and to creating consistency and transparency in our claims performance.

"We are committed to settling our claims gracefully and to respond to the needs of the hour positively. Our capability and commitment will be reflected in our behaviour to change the prevailing perception about our current claims service. Our transformation efforts will focus strongly on claims as a competitive advantage in future,” concludes Michelle.
