On 1 August 2015 Natsure (Pty) Ltd launched, Natsure HCV and Commercial, a new division offering short term insurance for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, including Goods in Transit and Special type vehicles as well as General Commercial Insurance.
The newly appointed Managing Director for Natsure HCV and Commercial is Curtis Davey, a specialist in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Insurance with years of experience in the Short term insurance industry, Transport and Financial Services Sector. The new division will focus of Long and Short Haul transporters as well as providing intermediaries with innovative value adds to these products enabling them to offer a competitive and truly customized solution and products to their insureds. Both the products will be Underwritten through Guardrisk Insurance Company Limited. Although Natsure’s focus is on very niche specialist lines of business, the HCV and Commercial product offering will complement the current product bouquet. “We are very excited about this new division and with the very skilled and experienced staff compliment that joins the Natsure team. We believe that the new team will add a huge amount of value to our business and will be able to leverage and contribute to our already very successful team of Underwriting Management Agencies and Natsure divisions.” Says Tersia Davey, Executive Director.
