Momentum Insure has secured second place in the highly regarded 2024 FIA Experience Awards, in the Personal Lines category for short-term insurance. This recognition highlights the company's resilience, adaptability, and commitment to service excellence in the face of an evolving industry landscape.
The FIA Experience Awards are a benchmark of excellence in South Africa’s financial services sector, evaluating financial service providers across seven key areas: Service Delivery, Product Quality, Relationship Management, Business Enablement, Trust, Complaint Resolution, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF). Based on nearly 3,400 intermediary ratings, the awards provide a clear reflection of customer sentiment and insurer performance.
Momentum Insure’s second-place marks a notable improvement from previous years. CEO Brand Pretorius attributes this success to the company's ongoing focus on delivering exceptional value to intermediaries and their clients. “We excelled in areas such as complaint resolution and product quality, both of which scored well above the industry average,” says Pretorius. “Our dedicated team, combined with a commitment to clear communication and collaboration, has been essential to this achievement.”
The 2024 survey revealed that Momentum Insure was one of only two brands in the Personal Lines category to surpass the critical 80% threshold, demonstrating the company’s strong alignment with intermediary expectations and its dedication to continuous improvement.
“This recognition underscores our commitment to building strong partnerships and delivering on our promises,” Pretorius adds. “Achieving such results in a highly competitive category reinforces our focus on protecting what matters most to our clients, and raising industry standards in the process.”
Key areas where Momentum Insure made significant strides include improving business efficiency and trust, with notable advancements in complaint resolution and product quality. The company’s ability to listen to intermediary feedback and act decisively has positioned it among the top performers in the market.
“We made meaningful progress across all seven award categories,” says Pretorius. “These improvements reflect our dedication to evolving with the industry while putting the needs of our intermediaries and their clients first.”
While celebrating this milestone, Pretorius emphasises that Momentum Insure remains committed to continuous growth and improvement. “We will continue refining our processes, strengthening relationships with our partners, and innovating to provide value that sets us apart in this dynamic industry,” he concludes.
