Investment Solutions was recently voted the Manager of Managers of the Year by the Principal Officer’s Association (POA) as part of the 2012 Imbasa Yegolide awards ceremony.

In addition, in June, Investment Solutions reached the milestone of R200 billion in assets under management.

The multi-manager is also making great strides towards transformation, recently achieving Level 2 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment status.

“We are truly proud to have achieved R200 billion in assets under management in the same year that we celebrate 15 years of fund management. The POA award along with our Level 2 BBBEE status is testament to our commitment to service excellence, delivery and social transformation,” says Derrick Msibi, Managing Director of Investment Solutions.

The award rewards businesses that add value through good service and innovation. This year the POA recognised that, despite an extremely difficult market, Investment Solutions’ had managed to increase revenue by 10% in the year to 31 March 2012.

“This award is particularly special to us as the assessment, while conducted by independent judges, is client-driven, reflecting actual client views of our service and delivery” added Msibi.

Reaching R200 billion in assets under management confirms our leadership in research and portfolio construction capabilities, including “compliance with Regulation 28, a key driver of investment success in the current environment” added Msibi.
