CompliNEWS announces CPD points accreditation

01 October 2014 | Company News & Results | General | Compli-Serve SA

Compli-Serve SA is pleased to announce that its news portal CompliNEWS has been accredited with CPD points. Weekly newsletters are produced, and subscribers who read every issue in the period of a year will be entitled to 17.5 points. This accounts for half of the required 35 CPD points per year.

CompliNEWS is South Africa’s only compliance news service dedicated to the financial services industry, offering news, regulatory tracking and legislation updates in the risk and compliance fields. Delivering 'targeted' compliance news and information keeps subscribers on top of developments in compliance, enforcement actions and analysis, both locally and internationally.

“While the portal is updated on a continuous basis, we deliver 40 - 42 editions of the newsletter per year,” says James George, Compliance Manager at Compl-Serve. “The FPI approval for CPD points is for 40 editions.”

Additionally, CPD points are also awarded at the various seminars Compli-Serve holds throughout the year, such as the upcoming RDR event taking place in October.
