Gareth Beaver, CEO of leading specialist and cell-captive insurer Centriq announced today that the company has been accorded an A+ rating by the Global Credit Rating (GCR) Company for the sixth consecutive year.

The rating confirms Centriq’s highly stable solvency margin, strong liquidity levels and investment approach that provide clients, policy- and shareholders with the security they want and need.

It also affirms the company’s strong claims paying ability - a competitive advantage for insurers and a key differentiating factor in retaining and growing a client base.

The rating is also reflective of Centriq’s well established brand and reputable position in the alternative risk transfer arena and business partner of leader UMA’s and Brand Affinity schemes.

Beaver said that Centriq will continue to exercise a prudent and disciplined approach to sound capital-, underwriting-, and credit risk management going forward as these factors have underpinned the excellent rating over the years.
