Gareth Beaver, CEO of Centriq Insurance today welcomed Alternative Commercial Acceptances (Pty) Ltd to their stable of underwriting management agencies (UMAs).
Also known as ACA, Alternative Commercial Acceptances provides much needed short-term insurance solutions to small, medium and large commercial entities, including operators in the agriculture and farming as well as the hospitality industry.
They also offer clients a highly competitive personal lines product offering, although it is their own niche product range called Turtle Cover™ that sets them apart from the rest. In a nutshell, ACA’s Turtle Cover provides for the shortfall in cover which policyholders (from landlords and vehicle owners to professionals and brokers), may experience under the extensions and limitations of their policies at claims stage.
“ACA directors Leon Dietrich, Francois de Necker and team have proven time and again that they know just how to provide their brokers with the products they need to successfully meet their clients’ needs. We share their forward-thinking business philosophy and have a high regard for the open and transparent manner in which they interact with their brokers, clients and partners,” said Beaver.
Commenting on the partnership, effective from 1 June, Dietrich said that they look forward to tapping into the knowledge, expertise and market positioning of Centriq. “This new and exciting venture will help us to strategically position our brand in the new regulatory environment, simultaneously increasing our competitiveness, service levels and product offering. There is, however, still a lot of hard work that lies ahead, but we look forward to meeting the challenge!” he said.
