Ombudsman lowest referral rate puts Zurich South Africa in top position

The recently released 2015 report of The Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance (OSTI) revealed that Zurich South Africa had the lowest referral rate in the industry. The OSTI is a widely respected, independent organisation focused on protecting the interests of South African consumers against any biased practices within the insurance industry.

Zurich South Africa’s rate of referral is an industry best; for every 1,000 claims received, only one was directed to the OSTI for resolution. Overall, Zurich South Africa’s referral rate is 67% lower than that of the short-term insurance industry average.
