Phishing Scam Claims to be From Assupol

A phishing sms scam claiming to be from Assupol is being sent around.

Assupol is alerting all clients and the public alike of a sms phishing scam that is being sent around. The sms appears to be coming from the bank as money being deducted by Assupol.

The sms is then followed by a call from someone claiming to be forensics from the bank trying to “protect their details” while asking for their personal banking details. Money is subsequently deducted from the victims’ accounts.

Assupol cares about the well-being of its clients and condemns these scams and wants to urge its clients and the public alike not to respond to the sms. Ensure that your personal details remain secure. Never give your personal and banking details to anyone.
