Chartis named top global insurance provider for third year running

24 June 2010 Chartis South Africa

Chartis announced that it has been awarded Best Global Insurer Overall in Euromoney’s annual insurance survey for the third year in a row.

Respondents also picked Chartis as the winner in four out of the five insurance categories. Chartis was awarded best overall global product provider of General Property and Casualty Insurance, Directors and Officers Liability, Marine and Fire and Medical Insurance.

“We are delighted that Chartis has again been named Best Global Insurer Overall,” says Reinhard Franke, General Manager of Chartis South Africa. “This award shows that globally we have the strongest insurance offering and are recognised as such by the top executives who make insurance decisions for their companies.”

The winners of Euromoney’s Insurance Awards are picked by a combination of risk managers, heads of treasury, chief financial officers, insurance managers and other direct buyers of insurances as the top company in countries world-wide. Respondents were asked to nominate their top-three insurance companies in order of quality in different areas of insurance.

Globally, Chartis serves over 45 million clients in 160 different countries and jurisdictions.

Euromoney is the leading European analytical journal on financial markets. This is the third year that the insurance awards have been held.
