A starry night

The evening started off with Master of Ceremonies, Nico Panagio (the host of Survivor SA) welcoming apprentices, sponsors and guests. Panagio then called Rianet Whitehead, Editor of FAnews and the creator of The Insurance Apprentice, who also had her chance to talk about what is clearly her passion.

Simon Colman, Executive Head: Digital Distribution at SHA Specialist Underwriters - aka Judge Dread, had the opportunity to share some of his experiences during filming week. Colman then awarded Mitesh Lakha (Discovery Insure) with a R10 000 cheque, sponsored by Aon South Africa, for being the apprentice that improved the most during the duration of filming week. Thank you, Aon South Africa.

This was then followed with the announcement of the Superfan competition winner, Lisa Martin, who won R20 000 thanks to Constantia Insurance. Lisa was one of many people who watched each episode and answered one question per episode.

Keeping the audience entertained, Panagio soon requested that each apprentice join him on stage, for an open question and answer session. Guests were then reminded of who the top three apprentices were, with the winner being announced as Lunsky.
