VEA Risk Consultants Product Launch

23 November 2006 VEA Risk Consultants

The launch and introduction of this company took place at the beautiful Mabalingwe Nature Reserve just outside Bela-Bela.  The day started off with workshops on Risk Consulting that was attended by interested parties.  The launch function itself was a great success with fantastic food and entertainment.  An informative DVD on the services and function of VEA Risk Consultants was showcased during the evening and presentations with essential information were presented to guests.

NEW GENERATION LEADERS IN THE TOURISM, WILDLIFE AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRIES

VEA Risk Consultants was born in 2005, and co-founded by VEA Holding Company and Joan Claassens Jackson, past president of the Insurance Institute of the Free State and found member of the SATSA Free State Chapter.

What makes VEA Risk Consultants different from the rest is that they KNOW WHAT THE MARKET NEEDS.  The communication is direct with the operational role players in the hospitality industry, and they get direct on hand information to develop and enhance their products to the market needs.  What makes them special they are available 24/7.

The establishing of VEA Risk Consultants meant that the group of companies VEA - now had 2 FSP (Financial Services Board) licenses, a very unique situation in todays market.

An extensive research project was launched to identify problems and niche in the insurance market, taking into consideration the now negative perceptions of the market such as service levels, timely claim handling and other.  A professional consultant and qualified Re-insurer was approached to assist in the development of 3 new policy wordings, specifically targeted at the Tourism, Hospitality and Wildlife industries, this led to the special and unique partnership with REGENT INSURANCE COMPANY The best kept secret.
The partnership enabled VEA Risk Consultants to move from a Broker to an Out-source Manager.

VEA RISK CONSULTANTS PRODUCTS:
VEA-A-SURE:
Previously, they had to make use of the standard Multi-Mark lll policy wording, heavily endorsed to try and meet the clients needs. VEA Risk Consultants IMPROVED THE WORDING, making it easier and more understandable.

Their Multi-peril policy wording is unique and will change the future.
WILD-A-SURE:
Although there are similar products in the market, they developed an IMPROVED AND LEADING product to serve the South African Market, flexible enough to cross the border into Southern Africa in the future. NO ANIMAL IS TOO BIG OR SMALL TO BE INSURED.

SEC-A-SURE:
Sectional title is a popular way of owning land in South Africa.  THEY DID NOT RE-INVENT THE WHEEL, but they did improve on the existing product to meet the market demands.

GOALS OF VEA RISK CONSULTANTS:
* To provide service excellence to all clients, big or small.
* To continuously expand our knowledge, experience and growth.
* To be flexible, innovative and efficient in all that we do.
* To break down old and negative perceptions of the insurance market.
* To be progressive in offering new and unique products to meet public demand.
* To expand our products into Southern Africa.
* To uphold our passion, commitment and drive to the industry.

We meet the constant changes in the hospitality industry.
