Natsure expands its product offering

Elesh Bisla was appointed as the new Managing Director of Universal Marine Underwriting Managers.

On 1 May 2015 Natsure (Pty) Ltd launched Universal Marine Underwriting Managers a division of Natsure (Pty) Ltd. Universal Marine, is a specialist underwriting management agency that will focus on Marine insurance and specifically Marine Cargo. Elesh Bisla was appointed as the new Managing Director of Universal Marine Underwriting Managers. Elesh is one of the most respected and qualified Marine Underwriters in South Africa, and brings with him a wealth of experience. Elesh was previously Divisional Marine Manager for ONE, and has more than 18 years marine experience and is also a very active member and contributor to AMUSA, the Association for Marine Underwriters in South Africa.

Universal Marine Underwriting Managers is a division of Natsure, an authorized Coverholder at Lloyds which enables us to have binding authority from certain Underwriters at Lloyds (Catlin and Antares).  Natsure specializes in niche classes of insurance business and continues with a drive to support the Underwriting fraternity in providing specialized lines of insurance business with a focus on product innovation, and highly skilled and experienced staff that can provide tailor made solutions for clients with specific insurance needs. Universal Marine Underwriting Managers compliments and extends this specialist bouquet of products within the Natsure group.
