CIB - more coverage included in the policy

CIB Insurance Solutions listens to its brokers and announce a bespoke car hire extension available on all CIB motor policies.

How often has your clients' vehicles not been fixed within the 30 day period that normal car hire for your clients expires? This is often as a result of insufficient parts being available due to imported vehicles and many other pressures which are beyond the panelbeater's control.

CIB Insurance Solutions has introduced a new addition to their motor policies that provides clients with a 30 or 60 day car hire option for an additional R35 or R60 per month respectively, effective immediately to better accommodate the client at the time of the claim.

The new car hire options will be available as follows:
o   Car Hire (30 days) R35.00
o   Car Hire (60 days) R60.00
o   Car Hire (30 days for automatic vehicle) R49.00
o   Car Hire (60 days for automatic vehicle) R80.00

"We often see vehicles taking longer than 30 days to fix, so when a policys car hire options only offer 30 days, clients are often left without transport. We have listened to our brokers needs and have come up with a solution to better facilitate clients at the time of a motor related claim," says Andrew Lilley of CIB. "When we say we are dedicated to insurance through the broker, we mean it- our task is to make our brokers look good in front of their clients! Extending the car hire option is what our brokers have told us their clients require and is exactly what CIB has delivered."

CIB announce new increased Commercial Liability limits and Subsidence and Landslip cover for Homeowners.

CIB Insurance Solutions has increased the limits on Commercial Liability to R20 million per event for General, Tenants and Motor Liabilities, and to R10 million in the combined per annual period of insurance, for Products Liability and Defective Workmanship. These increases are effective immediately and may be written on a Claims Made basis only (except motor).

CIB can now also offer Subsidence and Landslip cover on homeowner risks as per the extension within CIB's Personal Line Policy wording, without obtaining a geotechnical report*.

Andrew Lilley of CIB Insurance said, "We are always looking for ways to increase our service offering. We so often see the word 'limited' when reading policy documents and are sure the increased amounts we can now cover our clients for, will be very well received."

Lilley continued, "Our Subsidence and Landslip cover on Homeowners gives the policyholder wider cover and raises CIB's game against the bigger banks."
