CIB Insurance Domestic Policy

03 July 2008 CIB Insurance

CIB Insurance has made a name for itself in the commercial sector for offering quality insurance products that ensure exceptional coverage and first class service. This same quality and service is also available through CIB Insurance’s line of personal products. With Building Cover, Household Contents, All Risk Cover and Vehicle Cover, the CIB Insurance Domestic policy includes outstanding features and benefits unique in many ways to any other policies available in the market.

Automatically included over and above the standard cover expected from a personal lines policy are Householders Accidental Damage cover for events such as accidental damage to domestic appliances, mirrors and glass (not forming part of the fixtures and fittings) up to R30 000 and Householders Business Cover, which insures the policy holder for running a small business from home and provides cover up to the value of R 30 000. Policy holders are given the option of taking additional Car Hire cover which initiates in the event of motor vehicle loss or damage and can be taken for either 30 or 60 days, while the vehicle is being replaced or repaired. Further options such as subsidence and landslip insurance can be added to the Building Cover.

CIB Insurance has a 100% Basic Excess waiver for any personal lines policy holder over the age of 55 and has also introduced an Excess Buster which can be purchased to ensure that any future claims will be free of any excess. In the area of add-on cover CIB has a host of products designed to bring peace of mind for policy holders for those unforeseen events that can happen around the home or to your vehicle. Various Add on benefits can be chosen such as Home Assist, Motor Assist, Legal Assist and Road Accident Fund Assist.

“We strive to offer the kind of service that will make our policy holders confident that when ‘_ _ it happens’ they can know that they have a compassionate and reliable team taking care of them with the kind of cover that will get them back on their feet quickly and efficiently” says Jonjon Smit (pictured right), Sales Director for CIB Insurance.
