Deanin Jadean, currently Head of MidCorp for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) Africa, has been promoted to Head of MidCorp Allianz Africa, effective July 1, 2018. He will establish the MidCorp hub for Allianz Africa as part of a global MidCorp organization dedicated to boosting Allianz business in this segment. In his new role, Deanin will report to Delphine Traoré Maïdou, Allianz Africa Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Thomas Sepp, Allianz Re Head of MidCorp. Deanin will be based in Munich, Germany for a year to prepare the hub with Allianz Re and later move to Allianz Africa headquarters in Casablanca, Morocco.
Deanin will be part of the MidCorp team, which was developed from the Technical Excellence stream of the Tenewal Ageda to improve profitability and growth within Allianz SE. “We are pleased to have a person of Deanin’s calibre on board,” says Thomas. “We look forward to his insight and knowhow in developing, maintaining and implementing a global MidCorp strategy across Allianz entities.”
AGCS Africa will announce Deanin’s successor in due course. “I would like to thank Deanin for leading and developing a strong and robust commercial business for our brokers and clients in South Africa since joining AGCS Africa as Head of MidCorp in 2013.
