Compli-Serve SA appoints new Cape-based Compliance Officer

Compli-Serve SA is pleased to welcome Michael Van Antwerpen. He joins the Cape Town office as a Compliance Officer.

Michael holds a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning from Milpark Business School in Cape Town. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Law degree at Regent Business School and working towards obtaining the MBSE’s Occupational Certificate: Compliance Officer qualification to meet the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa’s CPrac (SA) Compliance Practitioner (SA) professional designation status.

He has over a decade of experience within the financial services industry, which has given him unique exposure into various financial services businesses from small advisory practices to insurers, providing financial advice, running his own FSP and working in compliance roles as an Internal Compliance Officer. He has previously worked for Sasfin Wealth, Matla Life, Affordable Benefits Company, Discovery, Sanlam, Momentum, Old Mutual and Nedbank NFP, among others.
